Does anyone know if there is any way that a GM HEI distributor will fit into an 360? Also does anyone have pics of Golden Eagle pickups?
thanks

Welcome on board Quin. There are a couple of souces for the HEI distributor modified for the AMC engine. There is no GM unit that will bolt right in. The drive gear for the distributor has to be changed to an AMC gear and the housing has to be modified.

Quinn, there is a guy who builds custom units that take GM HEI's and converts them over.
I bought a Davis Unified Ignition (DUI for short) HEI for my jeep from Performance Distributors. Including the heli-coil wires & the dizzy, matched to my specific engine, intake, cam, and driving preferences, it was $460 plus shipping. But, I can also say that was the best money I spent on my engine. Right now, my jeep is burning up gas that has sat for nearly 2 years. It cranks out roughly 50,000 volts, and my plug gap is .055. Starts up right away, no matter what temp it is outside.

They can run up to $180. depending on where you find them.
