I have determined that the paddle switch in the tailgate that is operated by the key is sticking and draining my battery. I have disconnected the switch from the dash switch so that it would not drain my battery anymore.
I would like to replace the internal paddle switch and was wondering if anybody has one? or knows the part number so that I can order one?
Also, how easy is it for someone with XXLarge hands to change this out? I have tried to work in the tailgate before and there isn't much room for my hands.
Thanks,

The switch is a PITA to replace.
There's a walk through in the tech section or e-mail me and I will tell you how I did it. Mine was in stock at my local Jeep dealer cost close to $60.00 (I think it was $52.00 plus tax)
As I said in your other post, I don't have my TSM with me tonight, but if they other guys don't have it, I'll get it for you tomorrow. hope that helps

Thanks Phil,
I didn't think it was easy... I was in there for a little while when I determined that it was the problem.
I'm going to get a new rear window track and window adhesive since I'm going to be in there anyways... If you get that part number, I would really appreciate it!
Thanks,

I paid 42 bucks for the switch and mechanicals on it.
Part number 56003167
It's a GOOOD one. The toggle is made out of metal, not plastic like stock.
While you're there, get half a dozen of the window retainer clips. They're only $2.15 a piece.
