I was gonna run a 650 cfm edelbrock on my performer intake, but my buddy blew the engine in his 69 chevelle and i might be able to get a 650 cfm demon thats on his blown motor, would the demon work? i really dont offroad much other than the occasional mudhole , nothing with a vericle. Nobody seems to run demons here, but i know there popular in racing, so i was wondering what the deal was, thanks yall.

this car was his DD until the motor blew, i guess i need to check and see if it has electric choke too.

what demon is it? There are different models.
street demon, road demon, race demon, etc.
And while its a 650cfm rated carb, it flows much better then most other 650cfm carbs. The venturies are polished. They are great carbs. But it wont be great offroad (to say the least). But if this is just a street go for it!

GM linkage is different by a little. For my edelbrock I just used the factory linkage and bought the little ball stud to hook the cable up to.
