Since I'am new to this board, and have only owned a Grand Wagoneer for about 5 hours now, I have a couple questions. Both my drivers side power windows do not work(sounds common). The motor is turning but the white plastic stap the runs throught the motor is snaped in half. Is this common? Can I get these new? And one other question. Where is the fuse to the power seats? I was told it is under the hood. If so where? And what does it look like. The power seats were working but have stopped. Thank you for your time and what ever help you offer me. . . . Tim

If u plan on keeping ur waggy for a while and working on it, i suggest getting a repair manual for it. It is very handy and helps on locating things like the fuse 2 the power seats. U can get them at any parts store and can even order some from book stores. As for the fuse....it doesnt say anythign about a fuse under the hood. It says, and i quote "If the seat does not work at all, check the 30 amp circuit breaker in the fuse block"

The plastic window regulators are available for about 15.00 to 20.00 each. The Breaker is in the fuse box, it is a silver metal box looking thing. Should be marked on the fusebox PWR seat

I just replace the flex track on my passenger front. It was $20 from Oreiley's autoparts in the help section. Fits chrysler is what the box said. Very easy to replace.

Welcome to the forum. Very best place to find info on your new friend.

Thank you for the information. I will be buying a old service manual as soon as possable. I just ordered 2 new flex tracs from my local Mopar dealer for $11.00 ea. and a 60" sheet of woodgrain for $52.00. My drivers side front fender has a few air bubbles under it. That sounded like a fair price to me. Thank you. . . . Tim

when you remove the drivers door inside panel be very careful of the power switch. what i do is to rest the panel on the doorsill and unplug the leads to it. good luck

Watch out when you start peeling back the wood grain!!!! It is a PITA the only thing that really worked for me was a blowdryer and a rubber scraper and allot of time!!!! Those little bubbles turn out to be cancerous tumours!!! Beware!!! And welcome aboard. I can send you a pic of what was under my bit of bubbling!!!Scary Stuff
