fuel system pressure

I just put my carb back on, and i was wondering if there is something special that you are supposed to do, i started it up already, it started once but wont start again and it blew gas out of the top of tha carb, think its time to seek a professional

I had the same prob after I rebuilt my carb. Locate the 'float pin retainer(a spring)'This fits around the 'float pin' and then clips around the 'rotory inlet valve'.If this spring isnt in place properly the float will not be able overcome the pressure of the incoming fuel and will continue to fill the carb and then shoot out of the top
