Skyjacker 4" lift will run a 33x12.50 on a stock rim (7-8") but you would need a 3" bodylift to run a 15x10" rim with the 33's.

31's or 32's will work as well with a 10" rim.

just FYI, a friend of mine has 33x12.5 mud kings on 10 in ch wide aluminum rims.he cannot seem to keep them on! everytime we go 'wheelin he pops a tire off the bead at least once. last weekend he popped off 3-both f/r passenger side at the same time, then the pass side rear again later.

im not real sure if his problem is wheels too wide, wheels are alminum,or simply wheels are of poor design with no real safety bead-kinda like a 16.5 incher. hes the only one of us with aluminum wheels, the rest of us run steelies, and also the rest of us have our tires alittle more pinched than 12.5s on 10 inche wide.

not sure what the prob is,but something to consider anyway.

ur thots?

Scotty,

Good point you bring up... Even though I had 13x12.50's on my 10" rims, I never popped a bead. I ran them as low a 6-8 PSI at any given time. There must be a "safety" feature built in to the bead seat to ensure not to pop a bead when wheelin. I have Eagle 589 15x10's... never had a problem and now going to the same rim in a 12" wide.

Lots of sidewall play while running aired down and just the right I amount of force and pop it loose.... I too had a buddy pop a bead (16.5") and taco the rim..... and HIS SPARE WAS FLAT!!! http://www.cs.colostate.edu/~zeimet/ubb/mad.gif

There are guys out here that actually mount 35x12.50's on 15x14's!!!! http://www.cs.colostate.edu/~zeimet/ubb/eek.gif He lives down the street from me with his "all chrome" 6" lift on a Z-71.... Never goes off pavement....I will coaks him out to the river... one day.......heheheheh.... muhahaha

Z-71's got me thinking bout something. I have two friends that have brand spanking new chevy 4x4's.. They went to the Silver Lake sand dunes, and couldnt go anywhere worth a crap. Thanks automatic traction control ha ha they were worthless (Quit building 4x4's meant to drive on pavement!!!!!! Jerk's!). Anyhow one guy figured out that if you go pull out the fuse for ATC(automatic traction control) then it seemed as though the x-case locked up and they were off and running.. I cant belive that one of the big manufacturers like chevy put that garbage on theyre MAIN staple of 4wheeldrives. Ive always been a chevy fan but have now just lost respect for them. Not to mention all the stupid little tricks like flashing the "dome light override" 4 times to disable the daytime headlights. I can just see it. Ill be yelling to my buddies to follow me thru a mudhole and they will be saying "Wait, just a minute. I just need to turn the key on and off twice and open and close the driver door three times while pumping the brake and turning the radio on and off, this will enable my 4 wheel drive"
God Im happy to have a simple, beefy, real machine.(But I will take the 300 HP Vortec V-8, thats not to shabby)
