fluid from the right side of axle

the fluid is not dripping but there is a dirty spot along the outside of the axle. about where the ujoint is. what would cause this to happen?

Leaky seal ? Need much better discription of where exactly you are looking
to tell.

I agree, I had a leaky axle seal, that is how it started off.
