Anyone upgraded their yokes on their transfer cases and yokes on their axles? I was also wondering if anyone upgraded to 1310 or 1350 u-joints. Since I will be turning 37 with 5.38 gears; I'm wondering if when I have my front driveline lengthed and thickened if I should up grade u-joints sizes. Do they even make a larger yoke for the QT case?

will you be sticking with a 44?im sure you can find a yoke for a 1350 u joint for a 44.if you have an extra QT yoke, count the splines on it and ill tell ya for sure if a 205 yoke will fit on it.
one thing to consider,especially with 5.13 gears,is what will break first? d44 pinion,or 1350 u joint?
i kind of view a u joint as a fuse.theyre pretty easy to replace. in event of parts breakage, you ultimately want to break inexpensive parts that are easy to fix,not the ones that require you to pull your whole rear end apart.
when i put in my 14 bolt, ill prolly make a hybrid drivehaft that takes a big u joint at the rear end,and a small one at the spicer 18.
another thing you could do is to use a big fat j10 rear drivesahft. those suckers have gotta be 5" in diameter! that would give you piece of mind agaist twisting the tube, but let you use the smaller u joint...
