I've been having some problems with the gauges on my J-10 not working properly. I went to a junkyard and got another instrument cluster and hooked it up to see if everything worked. The problem is the fuel, engine temp, and oil pressure gauges go all the way up, even if the engine isn't on. I believe its because too much voltage (or ohms) are going to them. Does anybody know how much should be going to them and where I should look for problems? TIA

If the gauges are all pegged then they have a faulty ground. Sorry I don't know where it is but try wiggling the cluster connector and maybe check out the tech section for a wiring diagram.
