Sorry i haven't been on in a while, but i got a quick question for you...i have heard that CJ D300's will bolt up to a TF727. Is this right? thanks.

Yes, they will, but they will drop the front driveshaft on the other side than a NP208.. you'll need to watch the clearance of the front driveshaft against the tranny pan.

On CJ's, 4" of lift is recommended to fit a TF727 and D300 combo in with the front driveshaft being tight.

Thanks, my main reason for the D300 was so i can use a 3/4 ton chevy D44 front for my SOA, and for the durability. As far as the tranny pan goes, with 4" springs and an SOA, it shouldn't be a problem

It'll be tight, but should work fine. A friend did this setup on a CJ, and getting to the front driveshaft yoke is a PITA.
