heres the problem. I have this thing, (not sure what it does, other than plug up a hole in the intake) that the hole in the new edelbrock intake doesnt match the hold in the stock intake. I have taken some pics so ya'll can see what im talking about.
intake pics (http://www.ownijbgc.net/cullen/jeep/intake/)
that should explain it better than i can with words. Either way, what do i use to plug up that hole, or more importantly, what is that hole supposed to be used for.
thanks
Cullen
edit: fixed the link. But i think texasj10 answered my question without seeing the pix. Kudos to him smile.gif

No Pix. Maybe words will work. We have good imaginations.

Without seeing the pics I'm willing to guess that you are referring to the large hole at the back of the mmanifold next to the water fitting. I believe this hole requires a rubber gromment and is used for the PCV valve. It is different than the stock manifold.

That looks like the place for the PCV valve. Mine lacks the PCV valve (and all engine related emissions devices for that matter) and runs great. Just don't stand by the exhaust for too long. I have the same intake only polished.

You need a rubber gromet from a parts store. You will need to find one that fits in the manifold TIGHTLY then you need a different PCV Valve one that will push into the gromet. You will need to match these things up as I have never been able to find anyone that can look up the part #, would not help anyhow as they would give you what you already have anyhow. I would have the propper rubber grommet and PCV USED if you have no luck. DO HOOK UP the PCV Valve!! ;) If you want one email me your Address ;)

use one that fits an older model cherokee with a 360. assuming you have a 360. thats what i did when i switched to an edelbrock manifold and a holley efi kit. works great.

When I switched over to an edelbrock I used the same size PCV. It is the same if you get one from a 79 wag or later. You can find the gromments for them right next to the PCV's.
