well i had to 'make' a kit from parts from FSJs and CJs. it turned out that the bolt pattern on my drum backing plate to the axle tube was the same as CJ5s. but not the rotor. CJs r 5 lugs ours r 6lug...

when i converted to front disc using a '77 front diff assembly, i had nu axles made for the rear diff to replace the 5 lug versions.
if i cood have converted the front 77 6lug front diff to 5 lug, i cood have used the normal CJ 5lug rear kit from SSB.

i cood find kits that wood convert CJ5 5lug rear drums to disc, but not to 6 lug discs. when i talk to stainless steel brakes, who had a kit, they were unwilling to swap the the 5 lug rotors in their kit for some 6lug rotors they had in their kits for the FSJs.

i went to a place in CO that wood give me the CJ kit but the FSJ rotors. TSM is the company in CO. they advertise in the backs of many 4x4 mags.

the kit from TSM is designed for medium sized calipers. with or w/o intregal E brake. i chose calipers with intregal E brake.

i was able to fab a mount that wood use the old drum E brake cable with the nu calipers. u can see it bolted to the Ubolt plate in one the the photos.

for all else, it was folow the kit directions.
