onitsside ......If you can find the holes in the axle tubes you should be able to Clean the area and JB Weld a little tube in the hole then run an old vacuum hose to it.......... ;) ....ds..

is that the only solution? I dont like jb weld very much and would rather use something else. Thanks for the info, if I have to do that I will.

You might be able to find a pipe-thread fitting that will fit in that hole (I think that's what they used originally); get one with a barbed fitting to attach a hose, and just clamp it on and route it up out of the way.

i usually end up tapping the vent hole and installing a pipe fiting. ive also done the jb weld the pressfit fitting thing, and i feel alittle more confortable with a screwed in hose barb...

I also run the hose to a K&N filter to help keep the dirt out of the axle.

yeah-forgot to mention the little filters.the little flapper things are ok IF theyre actually working. even the 'Zone now sells little bitty K&N filters ,wich is a much better idea than the flapper valve.

ive got all my vents tied to a manifold that attaches to a snorkel that runs up alongside my engine snorkel.

thanks for all the input. what do you mean "barb"?
makes sense other than that.

a hose barb has several ridges in it,to help keep the hose on. a hose fitting is basically a pipe, with one ridge at the end. sorry bout the confusion,i guess technically,i like hose fittings alittle better than barbs. a hose barb sometimes is very difficult to remove the hose later smile.gif
