y dose it shake so much?

when my truck is idleing it shakes rilly bad when the hood is up and its runing the hood moves from side to side about 3 inches and all the mouts are tight and good
o and the hood is on good o and it will barley run but its running rich motor only has about 1000 miles on it it a 350 buick

erm...the truck shouldent be shaking that bad unless the engine is missing really bad. otherwise it should be pretty smooth.

Make sure your getting good spark, double check to b sure your plug wires are going tot he right cylinders, check the mixture of the engine with a vacuum guage.

i cheaked it all new plugs and wires and i triple cheaked the wire order would it the rv cam? its was a bigger cam for lope

an RV cam hould have a smooth idle, as they are designed more for low end torque unlik racing cams which have overlap at idle making for a lopy idle.

That buick 350 should run really smooth, all through the rpm range. Double check everything again, could be as simple as a bad plug wire.

check firing order, you have a tune problem, that 350 should hold a glass of water on the air cleaner and not cause a ripple in the water ;)

tuning and worn worn motor mounts will allow more shake than usual.

yeah under some gresse was the tranny mount welded to the cross member

double check your timeing, if it is off it will ac like it is missing and cause what you said is hapening.

i know it is it was made not to idle good i don't know y but thats how it was when i got it
