Got a good suggestion to look into a dropped pitman for my Cherokee. I bought it with a 4" lift and tired drag link. The increased angle puts downward pressure on the tie rod and heats up those bushings and joints as well from what I can see. Where can I get a dropped pitman arm for my 83.

Rusty's has one, so's JC Robmey's. I'm going to get one before I put in a new axle.

I just ordered mine so I fugured I'd revive this thread, considering I'm the only one on it aside from sean. I looked at rustys site and the JC Wipmeys site and the only dropped pitman arms I found for us were with a lift kit, no ordero just the pitman armo. So I ordered mine from 4wheel Parts Wholesalers here in Denver. It cost $69 for the arm and after tax n' shippin' it came to $82.25 and it'll be here by friday so I can take it up to Cheyenne this weekend and stick er on, hopefully with a new axle if my 4wheeler sells. It's the Skyjacker 4". it should make my steering geometry better than it was before.
