OK, I got the 4 bolts off that hold the blade assembly to the *weird looking ribbed thing* that's on the front of the fan, no problem. But how do I get that *weird looking ribbed thing* itself off. I assume this has to come off to allow the blade assembly to come off as well, right?? A puller....??

Theres 4 more nuts that hold it(fan clutch) to the pulley. Dennis
The fan bolts to the clutch fan hub and the clutch fan hub bolts to the water pump pulley

What's the best way to get those bolts off, with the pulley moving around??

Impact gun, if you've got air. If you don't have air, put a wrench on it, hold it on tight, and hit the handle with a mallet to make your own impact-wrench.
