J 20 wheels

I recently bought a 1979 J 20. It has the original 16.5 inch metal rims.

Did this model come with hub caps or wheel covers? My truck has no covers at all. If there were hubcaps or wheelcovers, any ideas of availability?

I don't think Jeep made any hubcaps for the 16.5 inchers due to the rear axcle hubs. However these rims were also common on Dodges and Fords so you might want to tour a wrecking yard. You can also get beauty rings through JC Whitney

this may be late, but they did come with hub caps and they are ugly! I inherrited 4 when I bought my truck from my dad.they cover the entire wheel center From the welded seem of rim/center, and go over the hubs and lug nuts. They are aluminum and look like 10 or so inch diameter bowls w/ "jeep" stamped in the center.
