I did a vacuum test today, and I'm getting between 21 and 22. The needle was fluctuating rapidly from 21 to 22 and back again. Whatever is going on, it probably is that cylinder #4 which I pulled the fouled black oily looking plug from. Also, I found an exhaust leak I think on the driver's side about halfway back on the exhaust manifold. I'm going to retorque everything to see if that takes care of it.
Also, I removed spark plug wire for #4 plug, and it didn't really seem to affect the idle. I don't think that cylinder is firing if at all. Definitely a problem, as it is very rough at low rpm's.
Now combine that with the loud exhaust leak...and well POS driving by smile.gif
I'm going to do a compression check sometime this week, and I'll let everyone know.
