Need help from you guy who has a factory rear air spoiler/wing, whatever you call that thingy. I'm planning on installing one this weekend and would like to install it pretty close to where factory would have. I don't needs measurements for all 6 holes just need one and the rest sould use the spoiler as template. Say! what is the center mount hole close-est to the chrom trimed edge?
Thanks in advance.

WHY NOT JUST PUT IT ON THE ROOF.... AT THE PLACE THAT YOU THINK IT LOOKS GOOD....YOU KNOW, STAND BACK AND LOOK AT IT!!.......THEN MARK IT THEN DRILL THE HOLES.......BESURE TO CENTER IT.......LOOK AT IT THIS WAY. ...THE FIRST REPLY IS BETTER THAN NO REPLY AT ALL!!!  smile.gif

This is your lucky day!
I was in the junkyard Tuesday and snagged a rear spoiler for my Wag and when I did I did a rubbing of the driver's side bolt hole for a template for my installation.
The rear of the rear hole on that side is 9/16" from the front of the chrome strip surrounding the rear lip. The left side of the front hole on the same side is 3/4" from the luggage rack base.
If those dimensions don't work, just center it and put the rear hole pretty close to the rear edge.
I was in that junkyard because I snagged a sunroof about 18 months ago and I went back to the same yard to get a rubbing of the hole for a pattern to install it in my vehicle. Unfortunately, someone had moved the vehicle with a fork and ripped the top loose and bent it all to pieces. Bummer. But good for you I was there and equipped with the right tools, i.e., pencil and paper.

Thank you gentlemen for the replies. After I posed that question, I did exactly what GEMOBX says, I put the wing on top and eyeballed it. There aren't really any room to play with other then center it left to right. Too far forward, it'll defeat the purpose of having one, and too far back, it'll be too weak. And the measurements come out about what Thomas's dimensions. Thanks for suggestions, at least these suggestion and dimensions will end up in archive for future searches by FSJ DIYers.
Now off to find the right drill bit, and punch some holes in my perfectly leak free roof. No worry, got Wellnets, RTV, OE rubber gasgets.
Thanks again.

The only place you'll need to put RTV is on the threads. The new wellnuts will seal all the other areas just fine.
