After my switch burned out, it melted the plastic headlight switch harness pretty good. I wasn't getting good contact, so I snipped the wires, put new connectors on them and replugged into the new switch. The melted plastic harness is in the trash. I noticed that there are 7 tabs on the switch, 7 slots in the harness, yet I only have 6 wires. Does anybody know what the harness should contain? I have the following. Clockwise from top (RED)- Heavy Guage, (WHITE), (BLACK), (RED/WHITE), (WHITE), (RED + WHITE). Can anyone tell me what is missing. The lights seem to function OK. Just want to know if there is an orphan wire up there somewheres.
