Anyone with a stock 1979 360?

Kevin if it doesn't have a backpressure sensor it'll have "881" stamped on the valves face which refers to AMC p/n 321 8739.
If it does have a BP sensor it'll have a 7 digit number stamped on the face and base of the valve like 323 XXXX which is also the AMC p/n.

I do not have the original mounted on the jeep. I figured they all had back pressure sensors, either integral or external. Mine does not have the external sensor tubing et al, so I guess it should have an integral sensor in the valve.

Rudy, please check the number on the face of the valve. Also, please check if you have any tubing running off the valve (not the vacuum tube though)

Mine is the plain jane flying saucer with no external anything except for the vacuume nipple. Still at work but I remember this because I checked it this weekend.

SORRY but there is no number on it. it says "OEM NO." but its blank where a number should be. Also my vacuume diagram shows no other lines attached.

got an 81 360 its got a single nipple vac line going to it the number on it is

stamped on the face no OEM though or didnt see it kind of hard to get your head back there
cleaned it up then read it between the back hood and windsheald helpful for ppl with big heads http://www.ifsja.org/ubb/smile.gif well i hope that helps you some
