Well,
I found an '82 Grand Wagoneer in a boneyard here in San Antonio that has been cut down to make her into a pick-up, with guard rails on the "bed".
I needed an engine on the cheap, and this one started and ran, so I bought the engine for $450 dollars with a 30-day money back guarantee if thing don't work out. (they pulled it for me)
The jeep was hit in the front end, with the VIN of 1JCNE15N4CY037395
It has a NP 208, and I believe a 727 TorqueFlite Chrylser Tranmission.
Any one out there know the history of this Jeep? The engine looks as if a recent re-build has been done as the Connecting Rod Bearings are standard size, the heads have been done and the compression is pretty fair.
As my funds are about depleted, this engine was a right on time and the price is right.
Anyone out there got the history on her?
Joe
(Zack, I ran out of funds)
