Power steering stud removal

Arrrrgh,

how do you pull those studs to reuse them on the new pump .... put old pump in vise and hope they will unscrew,,,,, a little PB blaster... and may be a little heat

do i expect to seal the those studs when screwed into the new reservoir

im not familiar with the particular stud you're talking about. here is how to remove a stud. spin on a nut far enough so that another nut can be put on too. put on the 2nd nut. hold the first nut with a wrench. tighten the 2nd nut against the 1st. put a wrench on the 1st nut and back out the stud.
