My flowmaster series 70 'bigblock' muffler is nicely quiet, which is what I wanted. I'm still running a single exhaust. But I think you otta drop the bucks for Edelbrock TES headers then get back to me if you think they're worth the $500+. Also, these headers have the AIR tubes for your smog pump if you gotta pass emissions. Good Luck.

At one point I ran 3" duals and headers. Love that setup. But my headers were old and beat up. They came with the engine when I did the swap. Anyway, after the rebuild, I put older free flowing manifolds and plan to run dual 2 1/4" with dual flowmasters. Should be done today. Will let you know what I think. Dennis

I got the edelbrock headers on mine and work wonders. i went for the loudest i could get and i got the biggest and heavyest glass packs i could find and the it sounds like a beast.its easyly the best sounding truck in my small town of great falls.it all depends on if you want loud or not.
