Is there such a thing? I will be using a t18a out of a 66 J-2000 that had a 327. It will be going into my 1973 j-2000. Want to run a chevy crate motor. this will replace the 258/3 speed combo.

Either that or if I could get a buick 350 bell I could run the buick 455 that's in my garage? right? Could I use the bolt on motor mounts off a buick 350 donor for the motor?

decisions?

chevy and buick bolt paterns are different. You would need an advanced adapter to bolt the T18a to the chevy engine. You can bolt a ford small block pretty easily to a T18a though.

why not just run an sm 465? theyre plenty stout, and have a comparable 1stgear. and theyre pretty easy to scare up smile.gif

you can bolt up a buick 455 with the buick 350 bell. i think i remember the 455 block being wider than the 350,however,so i dont think it will completely bolt in with the 350 parts.

as far as a SBC to a t18,you could possibly modify a chevy bell to use on the t18. ive never done it this way,but plenty of te guys in the local club run sm465/205s behind amc 258s and 360,so in theory it should be possible smile.gif
