smog pump pulley size

My new 89 GW came with the smog pump, but the pulley for it was removed. Florida rig. Anyway, the pulley I purchased seems to cover up the bottom bolt hole (for the pivot bolt). So as you can imagine, I have otbeen able to put it back on. So either the pulley is the wrong one or the smog pump that came with the rig is incorrect.

Can anyone measure the diameter of their smog pump pulley for me please? Either that or I have to go buy a smog pump from AZ or Napa and see if that works. Thanx

Mine is like that. I had to put the pulley on after the pump and belt. It was a PIA and really needs two people (one to hold the pulley tight, while the other tightens the three pulley bolts).

Odd...just don't remember it being such a PITA with my 83 Wag Ltd...

I just replaced my pump - and you do have to put the pivot bolt in before the pulley/belt (did it the wrong way first myself). But I just put the pivot bolt in then then tightened it enough to hold pressure and then used a box end to tighten it once I put the pulley/belt on and tightened the belt- wasn't too bad.

Wow, my Grand looks just like Freddy's except with 31" BFG's and I have the center caps on the stock wheels, even my windows are tinted.

Yeah I have 31" Cooper American Classics, and I just got some black and chrome center caps for my 14 slot stock wheels. Twins seperated at birth! Got pix?
