Is the spark plug gap on a 401 the same as the 304? My manual shows the 304 set between 33-38, do I set the 401 plugs the same?

Any info would be great,
Thanks.

Don't know if this affects you but if your running HEI or an MSD set-up I recommend 10 over stock.

Phil, you gapping stock plugs that far? How do they hold up? Or you running a different plug? Thanks.

yea I even had them at.60 for a while, but didn't notice any improvement so I went back down. Had the same set of champion truck plugs in for about a year now, put them in before the Ouray invasion, probly got about 10,000 miles on them and theyre still ok, although I will be changing them for this summers wheeling season. In the manual that comes with the Davis H.E.I., they reccommend from .50 to .55.........................phil

EDIT: sorry thats .050 , never was any good at decimals
