I was going to install my locking hubs and took the dust cover off the end of the axle. Then I took the c clip out and that was it I couldn't get any farther into it!!!What do I need to do next?Oh and I am redoing my T-case w/ part-time kit and was wondering how you get those big c clips off? They dont have a little hole or nothing to grab!

Go but some mechanics picks. They're sold in sets and are the only way to go when getting those c-clips out. You'll need snap ring pliers also. You just have to find the end of the c-clip, and pry and play with it until you get that end loose then it comes right out.
Good luck

The big C-Clips have ends on them that will allow you to get a small screwdriver or awl under it and pry it out. The front hub has a larger snap ring, the diameter of the hub itself, this ring needs to be removed to get the drive gear out. In the link below I have the diagram of the front hub, the ring that you need to remove is not shown for some reason!

It looks like my problem is the drive gear.I can,t pull it out!I cant get anything in there to pry it out either.Looks like it should just come right off though.

Theres a little phillips head screw on mine that has to come off also. You should have that off, and the snap ring off, and the c-ring that is on the inside wall of the hub. If you dont have all of them off the drive gear cant come out. Also sometimes the lube creates a suction and its got to be broken and the drive gear will slide out. Good luck again.

Is the tire off the ground? If not it could just be bound up...
