Ok heres the deal: I want something that will make my G-Wag look good, but I want something that wont easily be scratched off by tree limbs.Ive heard of PorkChop using Durabak, but its not as glossy as I would like, regular car paint will scratch off. What would yall recommend?

Yes I did do the Durabak paint, both inside and out (I love that stuff). If you want a decent paint job but you don't want to worry about scratches take it to Maco or a place like that. I put the durabak on because I did not want to worry about scratches, or do that much body work. Plus if I am ever to rip off a section from denting the sheetmetal I can repair it myself in about 5 minutes. The Durabak is glossier than you would think too. You can get it with more UV protection and it will stay glossy longer. Mine is still glossy when I wash the dust off :D this is after a year in the AZ sun.

Only if it is a spray on no buff wax :D if you tried to buff it you would tear up what ever you are using, to include your hands!

Most automotive paints have hardeners that can be added and if you use a solid light color little scratches are easy to buff out and large areas are easier to match.
