Don't worry about cheap. Get the FSM (factory service manual) It cost more than others but well worth the price. I think it's about $85.00. It will save you 5 times that in time. you get the mechanical book and an electrical book with full blown electrical diagrams.

Like GEM said, "check ebay". I have gotten to where I don't hardly purchass anything b4 looking at ebay first. I got a brand new Gold USB2 printer cable for $5.50. Wal-Mart had the standard one for 18 bucks. The Gold model goes for 25 or more.
You need the TSM though much better than Haynes or Chiltons.
Real shop manuals aren't cheap especially for the later rigs that cover way more stuff(elec door locks, elec seats etc). Leon Rosser sells the 1990 two volume set for $90 which will work well for your 89. It's worth it and will save you the cost on your first repair.

Yup, Ebay. Got my factory manual there for about 20 as I recall. And I HIGHLY reccomend using a factory book when you can, the drawings are clear, sharp and the detail is very high.

I got one for my '77 from Turner 4wd Parts Co. Total was $81 including shipping. They are on the net and their phone # is 800-843-5337.
