relay noises

Last night I drove the 87 for the first time in 2-3 weeks, after it fired up it started to make the sound of a relay opening and closing. This continued for the duration of the 15 minute drive , but it never affected the performance of the GW. It was comming from the area behind and below the headlight switch / taligate window switch.

Any ideas as to what is happening?
