Right now I have the blown engine out of my 83 wagoneer and have a donor engine out of a 73 on the hoist. I was in the process of changing flywheels when I noticed that there was a spacer on the 73's crank because it was connected to a th400 and I have a 727. Can I reverse the flywheel to give it the same spacing, or is there away to remove the crank spacer. I rented the hoist so the faster the response the better.

You'll need to get a new flex plate(flywheels are only on manual tranny engines) for the 360/727 combo. About $40-$50 at any parts store. And yes you'll need to remove the crank insert from the 73 crank. See your other post for the "how to".
