Where do you guys purchase front rubber brake lines? My local auto parts store doesn’t have them.

What year is your truck? Advance Auto Parts around here can get em for my truck. Maybe try a different parts store?

I checked Napa, Big A and Bumper to Bumper all have nothing. Could I use a brake line that is used on a 70 to 87 Chevy 4x4 ½ ton pickup?
Thanks

Could they order them? I find that surprising that they couldn't get them at all. Anyway, I'm sure hoses from some Chevy application would work, but I have no idea which one. I'm sure someone else here must know though... anyone??

Chevy 4wd lines from about the same years usually fit, but are much longer, which can be good. Go to the parts house you like, the one that will take stuff back if it is wrong, and get the chevy parts. Compare them to you own stuff and put them on. I haven't felt like turning the old bolts on my front lines, otherwise I would have already done this.

Good luck,

Daniel

Yeah the people at Napa know me very well, but they don’t even list brake lines for my jeep. I did order the lines for a Chevy but wanted to check with you pros first to make sure I’m not wasting my time. After the bake hose are fixed, it’ll be darn near road worthy. (Sort of)
Thanks for all the info…
