I was at the parts store pricing out a J-10 e brake cable that i heard was supposed to work with the SOA. All the guy said that they had was the "intermediate cable" that they would have to order from Ohio. Is this what I want or what? Anyone with any experience with this? Thanks... Also what year J-10 works best with this application. '

dnixon,
Any lift over 3" requires brake cable relocation on the rear. Pep Boys sells a kit to make your own intermediate cable. I didn't think about a J10 fitting but sounds like a good idea.

What I did on mine was relocate the E-brake hardline mount on the frame back about 4-6" then lengthened the cable that connects them...I ned to find the pics....

I did the same. Only my brackets had to move back 3" (not as much lift). Then I just spliced in a peice of cable and it was ready to go.
