hmm....I can't help you with the kickdown or the A/c questions, as mine doesn't have them. I do know that mine came with the suff to make your kick down work...Ie, the little slide thing that looks like it's made of coathanger. The A/c can be made to run off the fast idle solenoid, eventhough Holley doesn't recommend it, or say it was designed to work that way. You will need either an adapter to fit the p-jection on your stock 2 barrel intake (about 70 buks for it...eek!) or a 4bbl intake. I took the second route as I had a 4bbl sitting here that a guy gave me. the unit should come with the fuel pump and the filters...otherwise you can get some EFI filters (one pre-filter for fuel pump, and one post-filter). I ran all new lines...but I needed to since my stock tank had been gone for years. There also needs to be a return line big enough to keep the returning fuel at low pressure. I have heard that the stock return is too small. I used 5/16" fuel line. It is actually quite simple to install....you just need everything set up right before hand. And the results? Man o man, the power increase on mine was staggering! Any other questions, just let me know.

you will need a fuel pump that will put out more than 15 psi. the return line size doesnt matter, as long as the return pressure stays below 10psi. the original one on mine works fine. 3psi. dont need the a/c idle booster solenoid. the manual says to just set the idle about 100 rpm higher. mount the fuel pump on the frame rail just ahead of the tank, with a filter on each end of the pump. then run some fuel hose up the back of the engine to the rear of the throttle body. not much heat back there.

works great!!!

hey. I have the original instruction manual.

There was some other parts you need like a temp. sending unit.

Let me know if you want me to make copies and I can send them to ya. You can email me to keep your address private.

I don't have this on my Jeep yet! I put one on my 73 mustang. It works great but I managed to find a tri power manifold and super charger setup for my 351C so I am going back to carbs for the street car. When I do, I will move my projection unit to the jeep. SHould be a big help. On my last trip I saw a guy with a chevy who kept stalling trying to get up a hill. Our Friends with the FSJ (carbed.) didn't have a problem but can't beat FI.

You need to bring it down to east TX, for extensive "real world" testing prior to installation on your truck!! Congrats! I'll be doing the same thing next month. :D :D

If you go to Holley's web site, then to their projection replacement parts page, you'll see the part number in there for anything that you may need. Then all you need to do is type in that part # on a site like Summit or Jegs, and you'll find what you need. I know for summit, when you type in the part number, you need to put "hly-" before the number...not sure about Jegs.

I have a fuel pump from a Holley 2Di system, as shown in the photo from Holley's website. It's yours for $35 plus shipping. Here's a link to the page:

http://www.holley.com/HiOctn/ProdLine/Products/FMS/FMSFI/502-20S.html

As for A/C, your big hairy V8 will barely notice the compressor load. And the Holley throttle body will work fine with the stock kickdown linkage.

What you'll want to make sure is that you have an installation manual, which lists all the parts that originally came with the kit. Make sure your wire harness is good and that you have the fuel pump relay.

the fuel pressure regulator is built into the throttle body. its the allen screw right in the middle on top. do you have the manual for that thing? you will really need it.

I recommend doing a search on projection or por-jection. A couple of us went through this process the hard way about a year ago. You should find all kinds of time saving information.
