Found a set of 33x14 Mickey Thompsons for 150 installed almost new. Just worried about popping the bead. Anyone run these tires?

I don't run tires that wide but an 8" rim is the minimum width recommended by many sites for a 12.50 wide tire. So, I would say the 8" rim is inadequate for a 14" wide tire.

8" is too small. To get any kind of reasonably tread wear on them you'll be running 10 psi on the street, which gets dangerous at high speeds and corners. If it was JUST off-road you could get away with it.

You need a 10" for a tire that wide. My 12.50's are pinched on my 8" rim, with 14's on a 8" you would have to run ike 20-25psi to get them too run flat.

you need a 10" rim and if you have a Waggie or N/T... they will rub the snott out of your leaf springs int he rear UNLESS you get an offset close to 3"... standard is 3 5/8" BS....
