new manifold...how to prep it for engine?

ok... i got my offenhauser dual port intake (yeehaw!) and my lifters and such... i'm ready to stick all of this in the jeep.

how do i get an oil tube on the manifold? do i need to get a shop to do that? what about vaccuum connectors and such? can i just go to autozone and pick some of this stuff up?

Sometimes you can use a strap wrench to twist them out, I had to cut mine out because it was *really* in there. The vacuum connectors should comes right out. I advise cleaning everything VERY well when taking it apart. Before you put the stuff back in, use enamle reducer or acitone to get rid of any oils that may be present (even oils from your hands) because they will prevent a perfect seal.

but how do i install it on the new manifold? can i just twist it back on? lol...reminds me of my tinker toy days :D
