Joe, Welcome! So how do you like your Hemi Dodge?? Ive got a Dakota Quad cab with the 4.7 right now that Ive loved for the last 75,000 miles, and was thinking of checking out the Rams with the Hemi. But Ive heard theres not as much power as there should be? How do you like it?

Ben, thanks for the welcome! As far as the Hemi goes, there's good power, not head snapping, but reasonable for the size truck it is & being 100% stock. She's pretty heavy, I think ~5,300lbs. It has the 5spd auto & it shifts up & down fine, gears are 3.73. @70mph the tach reads ~1,900 rpm. HP's are rated @345, torque @375, so not too shabby. I would have rather had the Cummins TD, but the pocket book would have taken a heavy hit.
I've only had it for ~1 month, so far I like it. I towed with it ~300 miles this past weekend. Engine stayed nice & cool, just shy of the middle line on the gauge, it was ~80* outside where I was at (San Diego up to Rancho Cucamonga area). There's a HUGE tranny cooler for the auto.
BTW, Lakewood huh? My old stomping grounds. :D

I forgot to mention, the 2500's rear axle is made by AAM. It's a 10.5" ring gear (in mine), & gear driven locker, rear discs w/dual piston calipers. It's an 8 lug with full floater axle shafts.
