I've spent two days looking online for a Dana 20 rebuild kit (brgs, seals, etc.) and I'll be d*mned if I can find one.
Does anyone know where I can locate one? ('Course you guys do!!!)

Thanks!!

Alright...this is great! Thanks! Guess I can't offer any more beer...I'll have to buy a keg now! Next time you're close to CO, let me know.

Now, I have another question. The shift assembly isn't in a straight line; it's in a 'U' shape and has an actual shift assembly forward of the transfer case (attached by a 12" shaft). I can submit photos if this helps. Does anyone know what the deal is? Is this just a mod for the TH400? Can I still twin-stick this bad boy?

Too many questions...too little time...and WAY too much money to spend! smile.gif

That is a jeep specific shift pattern. It was like this with my old T85 also. You can twin stick it. RB made his own and a friend of scotty's, Kyrel, makes a kit for like $125. Or you can go the route I did and get the front housing from a scout D20 and the sticks from a D18 and your set. This also places the sticks closer to the seats and off the tranny hump.

I made my own twinstick from some plate steel, 5/8" bolts lots of washers and 2 tire irons.... about $10 and 2.5 hours of work.... :D

Yeah, the tire irons and golf balls were *KOOL*...I'm not a Marine Golfer so it'll have to be something else. :D

PC, do you have any pics of this. I have the chance to get a D18 for $40. I definately want twin stick but clueless as to what's needed. I have the resources to fabricate it, but bolt-ons are better. The D18 is from a Scout and I already have a 727/D20 from a Scout that intend to cannibilize from.

Thanks,
Matt

Yes I have some pics. They are not on my site but I can email them to you. What would you like to see. The installed case or the uninstalled case?
