Axle swap

Will a 3 1/2 inch offset versus centered differential on a rear Dana 60 work on a J200 truck without any adverse effects? Wanting to put 1976 Dana 60 under J200 if possible. Thanks in advance.

I ran a q/trac with a centered diff axle for years with out a problem so I think going the other way would be fine. I did change u joints yearly as cheap insurance but that is cuz I play in the mud a lot.
