So today, my wife and daughter and I picked up our new 1989 Jeep Grand Wagoneer. And man, I love how this thing drives. Even with the previous owner removing the sway bar, it still tracks well, rides nice, and is just fun to be in.

I've only snapped a couple of shots, so here's one:

The interior needs work, and I'll have to of course do some power modifications. But all in all, she's got a 4.5" lift and a set of fairly new Toyo Open Country, as well as the original set of wheels with 31"s. She should be good for some decent runs and once restored a nice family vehicle.

Now I've got to decide what to get rid of before people start thinking I have a used car lot. ;)

That one is definitely not going anywhere. ;) That's my dream truck. By getting rid of one, I mostly meant my ZJ, or reducing the J-4000 to parts since it's rusted out.

But yeah, everyone likes the M715. :)

Thanks. :)

Speaking of finds, I hear Walker isn't that great for FSJs. Can anyone confirm or deny this? I'm wanting to get a test run done, and Reiter (which is about 20 minutes from my house) isn't an option anymore, apparently.

Not bad looking. Could allways go play in the snow.

Jagged- Contact the folks in region 1 or maybe region 2 at pnw4wda.org on Walker. They can help you out on the trails and areas up there.

Decent looking waggy. Wife says she has not felt as safe in anything for years as she does in the wide track cherokee. Rides super for live axles and leafs all around. Lot of 715 fans on here.

Took our Jeep to Tahuya two weekends ago. Tight squeeze through a few areas, but it made it. Was a blast and might hit up Walker this upcoming weekend as I've heard that what's left of it is more full size friendly.

We shall see.

PS Anyone in for a local meet sometime?
