Speakin of Oil Pans from General Talk

Nothin to do with JB Weld at all, but I am tryin to remove pan from my 258 to put a full one piece gasket on. I managed to move the trans. lines away and drop the pan slightly, but i suppose there's a gear or something obsturcting the pan from dropping down further, which leaves me to loosen the exhaust pipe at the manifold. I managed to remove the back nut on the flange, but no way I can reach the front nut. Socket is too long, and a wrench is too wide. Or so I think...
Anyone have any ideas on how to remove this nut?

haha, oon a 258 right? i did this on the j10, small strokes with a wrench. lol break it loose, then just use the open end. i had too. use alot of penetrating lube.
