I bled the rear brakes using the "gravity" method described in the tech library, and that went fine, but now I'm workin' on the fronts and when I loosen the valve on the passenger side no juice comes out. Do I need to use a vacuume pump or somethin?

I use these on every car I own..the ONLY way to bleed brakes.....you can buy them from Summit for $10 for a pair...

The speed bleaders are great but for now check for a blockage in the valve.

irbob,
Should I stick a needle in there or something, or remove the whole valve?

Speed Bleeder does not list the Grand Wagoneer but lists a Grand Cherokee, those part numbers would be correct for use, wouldn't they?

It will be better to remove it and clean it out. If you stick a needle in there it may not get the gunk out that is causing the blockage.

Just did my whole system... the front bleeders were clogged up, so I cleaned them out. I used the mighty vac vacuum bleeder kit... AWESOME kit for $39... I flushed all the old crap out and my brake are twice as good now.... flushed 3 qts thru the entire system to make sure it was clean.

When I did my brake overhaul I bought new bleeder screws. For $.79 it is easier than trying to clean them out.
