A few weeks ago, for the fun of it I wanted to see what Wagoneer stuff was on Craigs List. A new listing was a 1990 with 78k miles and was only a few miles from me. There is one patch of rust on the passenger rear quarter panel and some minor surface rust underneath but the rest of the body, wood panels and interior was in perfect shape. Thankfully I was the first to see it because I knew the first person to see it would snatch it up. I only have to fix a few minor things and rear wiper and exhaust but what a difference in ride compared to my first one that had no interior and the shocks and springs were shot.

The front seat looks great. Be careful what you look for on CL, you just might find it.

Be careful what you look for on Craigslist, you might find something you never knew you wanted and then you have to have it. :D

$3,200 and the nice thing is that it was only $1,000 more than what I sold my other one for!

The PO didn't know what he had. He and his brother were big Scout fans and they had a really rare 1 of 50 Scout in the garage in perfect shape. They bought the Jeep from the 2nd owner's nephew for around $2,750 and did a little work to it.
