Texas, I'm the type of person where if someone says something can't fit, I'll make it fit. There seems to be only two things that will prevent any carb from bolting up. One is the bolt pattern of the carb. That could be hard to modify. The other is the throttle linkage and transmission kickdown. The pattern and width of the venturis can be handled by making a spacer from plywood. Stock carb on the older models is the Motorcraft 2100, but a Holly 2300 may fit.
What's your goal here? Just to replace a bad carb?

Any Autolite/Motorcraft 2V (2100, 2150) will bolt on. All the ones I've seen have similar linkages. These were used for many years on small Ford V8s.
The Holley 2300 will bolt up also, and are available from the hot rod/racing parts suppliers new from Holley. I put one on my '73 304 CJ-5, but it performed so poorly off-road that I switched back to the stock 2100.
