If you need that special tool that you might only use a few times instead of buying it or spending countless hours fabricating something use Advanced Auto's loan a tool program.

I needed to remove three pilot bearings over the weekend from the the two front spindles and rear output shaft in the Dana 300 and used their pilot bearing removing tool and slide hammer. It only cost me a thank you and a $ 40.00 deposit.

All three of the bearings were out in less than bam.......bam..........bam!

The list of tools they offer is right on the counter.

Good luck and happy wrenching!

Auto Zone does that too, and remember a lot of the tool rentals have special tools too!

For you Detroiters, Murray's also does this.

(edit - one should really be awake when typing..)
