My odometer stopped working, but the speedometer still works although it makes an annoying clicking sound now. I took the cluster out and it looks like both are controlled by a white rectagular box that the speedo cable hooks to. Can I just replace this box? Also if i can't find one from a GW, was the same box used in any other vehicles.
Thanks,
David

David, I've never taken one of those apart but guessing the odo drive is plastic. Prolly easier to get another used speedo. I think the gauges changed in 86 or 87 so any one from there up should be any easy swap.

Thanks Joe, I'm going to a couple of yards tomorrow so try to find one on a GW. I'll check other Jeeps around the same year to see if they use the same box and post it in case anyone else was wondering.
