Tranny Shift troubles..

Hey guys, have to make this quick, plans are comin up real soon, but if y'all need any more info, i'll be on later on tonite.
So here goes...

999Transmission..
installed new weber carb.
installed new Deep Trans. Oil Pan (+2qt)
Jeep will shift, but I have to let off on the gas pedal for it to shift higher. gas Pedal seems to make transmission extra sensitive, because at 2nd gear (45MPH) if I don't feather the gas, and let it shift into 3rd, and then slowly accelerate to 55, it will kick back down into 2nd. Sometimes more violent than others.(same with downshift) Keep adding fluid to my transmission, and it always reads "Add one pint". never changes. And unless I'm losin all my oil down the street, somethin sounds amiss here.. because it stays at "add one pint".
Have not worked with kickdown linkage yet, or throttle valve linkage. I should have time tomorrow. any thoughts fellas?

since you changed the carb now you will have to spend time adjusting the kick down linkage that is what regulates the shift in the 727/999 and until you get it right you stand a chance of burnning up the trans bands as for the linkage it is also different between 4 and 2 barrel so spend more time on adjusting the kick down linkage noe

yipes! :eek: didn't know what could happen! and i drove it over 100 miles today. ohhhhhhh crap. will work on it tomorrow asap!
