I've done a search, checked in the tech library and came up with nada. What I'm after are the diffrences in wheelbase, overall lenght, weight, width, etc...

After 2 years of abuse the body on my wagon is falling apart. The plan is to get a Cherokee of the same vintage and swap all my goodies into her. I have a line one already, but am curious as to any benefits of going to the smaller bodied Cherokee. Thanks in advance...

they are exactly the same, just one has 4 doors. The wag may be a bit heavier because of the extra glass and doors.

Stuka is correct. I have a headliner from a waggy in my Chero!

That is exactly what I am doing now. I am swapping a 80 W/T Chero to my 84 GWag frame once I get the Chero painted. The body on my wag has been chopped & beaten to death. Will also be doing a SOA & RB kit in the rear for more lift.

Thanks for the info guys. I was hoping the cheros had better departure angles, but oh well. At least there will be less glass, doors and potential leaky areas to deal with on the new rig..

nearly all FSJ wagons from 1962 to 91 have the same body panels and very similar frames (earlier were a bit different). Before 70 (I am not sure about the year), the wheelbase was 110", and 109" ever since. Since the body is the same, I believe the difference is in rear springs.
