View Full Version : Do I need a Dropped Pitman Arm?????
I just finished putting on a new to me/used Trailmaster 4 inch lift. I have always run it without the swaybar and add a leafs. I am now running without the track bar and steering stabilizer. I have not yet had it aligned and steering is off. The problem is that I am getting quite a bit of bumpsteer. Should I get the dropped pitman arm and then have it aligned or should the alignment take care of my steering problems.

4" lift works GREAT with a 4" drop pitman arm... get one....it will illiminate your bump steer. YES get one ....THEN align it.
Alot of what you are feeling will be controlled by a stabilizer as well... get a good one, or dual setup from rancho.

I second that. I put one on last week and it is a world of difference. Call the guys at www.crawltech.com (http://www.crawltech.com) for a good price on an arm.

Gotta have a steering stabilizer! Take one bump the wrong way and it'll try to take your arms off!
